About this file

This document is a Combined Synopsis and Request for Information (RFI) for a sole-source procurement of a console upgrade for a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) 500 system. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Bruker Corporation, based on compatibility requirements that only that vendor can supply.

The NMR 500 system is used to support DOD customer-funded programs for anti-terrorism forensic attributions and purity analysis of chemical warfare materials. The required upgrade includes an Avance NEO NMR console, associated hardware and software components. Responses to this RFI are due by July 26, 2024, and the Government reserves the discretion to determine whether to compete the requirement based on the responses received.
