About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces is procuring four multidirectional side loading forklifts to be delivered to three military installations in Japan. The requirement calls for brand-new Hubtex MaxX45-2425 or equivalent electric battery-driven forklifts with 9,900 lb load capability, 3-stage masts, and 360-degree endless steering, complete with comprehensive spare parts packages, operation manuals in both English and Japanese, and warranty coverage. Contractors must provide 24-hour response warranty service, direct delivery to the specified locations, and if located outside Japan, must provide contact information for a Japanese partner company. The government will evaluate proposals using lowest price technically acceptable criteria, with the potential for price realism analysis. The solicitation was posted on August 12, 2025, with quotes due September 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM, though these dates were noted as tentative pending final solicitation release.
This procurement is set aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns under NAICS code 333924 with a size standard of 900 employees. The contract specifies delivery of four forklifts distributed as follows: two to Kawakami Ammunition Depot in Hiroshima, one to Akizuki Ammunition Depot in Hiroshima, and one to Okinawa Torii Station in Okinawa. Performance will occur at these three Japanese military installations, with a firm fixed-price contract structure and a 270-calendar day delivery timeline from the date of award. The solicitation indicates this will be administered by the 374th Contracting Squadron at Yokota Air Base, with the government intending to award without further negotiations based on initial quotes submitted. No incumbent contractors or specific budget ranges were identified in the available documentation.
