About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy (DON) Strategic Systems Programs has issued a Public Notice regarding the de-obligation and closeout of two specific contracts, N0003006C0033 and N0003008C0026. The DON intends to de-obligate and close contracts that have $100,000 or less in unliquidated obligations and no disbursements in the last 365 days or more.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide vendors with the opportunity to review the unliquidated balances of $185.00 and $145.00 for the two identified contracts and either agree that the full amounts can be de-obligated or submit a "Vendor Contract Retention Worksheet" with the amount that can be de-obligated and justification. Vendors must also provide notification if they do not agree that the contracts can be closed. Submissions are to be emailed to angela.triplett@ssp.navy.mil, and the announcement will close 30 calendar days after the posting date. If the DON does not receive specific information for each contract, it will begin de-obligating and closing the contracts.
