About this opportunity
The National Institutes of Health is preparing to procure proteomics study services using Olink Reveal Kits, with responses due by June 26, 2026. No set-aside applies to this procurement.
The Center for Research on Genomics and Global Health intends to leverage proteomics analysis to advance understanding of metabolic disorders including Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. CRGGH has accumulated phenotypic data from over 6,000 participants across domestic and international sites over the past two decades and has systematically collected complementary -omics datasets including genomics, transcriptomics, and microbiome data from all or some participants. The proteomics work will support integrated multi-omics analyses to identify mechanistic underpinnings of these complex diseases.
The procurement is classified under NAICS 325414 (Biological Product Manufacturing, except Diagnostic) and PSC 6505 (Drugs and Biologicals).
Notice text
The Center for Research on Genomics and Global Health (CRGGH) explores how genetic and environmental factors contribute to the onset of complex diseases like Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. Over the past two decades, CRGGH has gathered phenotypic data from more than 6,000 individuals both in the United States and internationally.
To better understand the underlying causes of metabolic disorders, CRGGH researchers utilize a variety of analytical methods. Over the years, they have systematically collected diverse types of -omics data, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and microbiomes—from all or some participants, aiming to conduct integrated analyses that unravel underpinning mechanisms of these diseases.
