About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard is procuring fasteners (part number ASNA2154C02, NSN 5340-14-439-0162) for MH-65 helicopters through solicitation number 70Z03826QB0000098. This is an unrestricted competitive procurement for commercial items open to all responsible sources, with no small business set-aside applied. The primary contract requirement is that all fasteners must have clear traceability to Airbus Helicopters (OEM CAGE Code F0210) through an approved source, with complete and auditable documentation of the supply chain. Technical acceptability will be evaluated based on the contractor's ability to provide new manufactured commercial items matching the exact part numbers specified, with award anticipated as a firm-fixed price purchase order to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror. The solicitation closes on April 17, 2026, with prices required to remain firm for 60 calendar days from receipt of quotation.
The procurement is not designated as a set-aside and involves no identified incumbent contractors. The base requirement is for 130 units of fasteners, with an option for the Contracting Officer to increase the quantity by up to 100 additional units (for a maximum of 230 total units) within one calendar year of purchase order award, all at the quoted unit price. Delivery is required by March 1, 2027, on an F.O.B. Destination basis to the USCG Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. All products destined for USCG aircraft are subject to enhanced quality assurance requirements, including Certificates of Conformance and applicable FAA airworthiness documentation. Payment will be made electronically upon receipt and approval of all items delivered.
