About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking procurement of a Processor, Display A component (NSN 0R-7010-017321112-P8) through this pre-solicitation notice posted on November 1, 2025, with a proposal due date of December 16, 2025. The item is flight-critical and requires Government source approval prior to contract award, meaning only previously approved sources have been solicited for this opportunity. Prospective contractors who are not already approved sources must submit comprehensive technical data as detailed in the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures, including documentation of production experience with the same or similar items or notification if this represents new manufacturing for the company. The Government has indicated that the current design is unstable with demonstrated marginal performance, and major configuration changes are contemplated that will render the present part obsolete, indicating this is a limited acquisition pending redesign. Contractors should note that if a source approval request is currently under evaluation at NAVSUP WSS, they must submit a copy of the cover letter forwarding their approval request along with their proposal, and failure to provide all required source approval documentation will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award consideration.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is limited to pre-approved sources, with no incumbent or current contractor information provided in the notice. The Government is procuring 12 units with FOB Origin delivery terms. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The abbreviated nature of the available information suggests this is an early-stage notice intended primarily to alert approved sources of the upcoming solicitation and to notify potential new suppliers of the source approval requirements and procedures they must follow to compete. Interested parties should consult the NAVSUP WSS Business Opportunities website for detailed source approval information brochures and submission procedures prior to preparing their responses.
