The primary objective is to provide prescription filling, dispensing, and patient counseling services for seven community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) and the Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) program. Key contract requirements include filling urgent medications within 30 minutes, prioritizing generic drugs, maintaining patient confidentiality, and providing comprehensive prescription counseling. Potential contractors must have at least two licensed pharmacies in each CBOC location and designated zip code areas. The solicitation requires responses by May 21, 2025, at 10:00 CDT, with questions accepted until May 12, 2025, and all submissions to be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Steve Parrott.
The contract is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), with a total contract value of $37.5 million. The contract will have a base year beginning on June 1, 2025, with four potential one-year option periods. Pharmacies must be located more than 25 miles from HSTMVH and must adhere to specific dispensing guidelines, including limiting prescription supplies to 7 days for most medications and 10 days for antibiotics.
