About this opportunity

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District is seeking to prequalify contractors for the comprehensive renovation of the Nolan Building at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Interested parties must submit a Statement of Affiliation by December 30th demonstrating no foreign ownership, control or influence. Only prequalified contractors will receive the solicitation and be eligible to bid. The renovation includes repairing or replacing the roof, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and suppression systems, ceilings, windows, doors, flooring, partitions and interior/exterior finishes. Asbestos abatement and hazardous material remediation is also within scope. The agency will review submissions and rate them as acceptable or unacceptable for inclusion in the subsequent solicitation, which will use Best Value Trade-off procedures.

There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The requiring activity is the US Army Intelligence & Security Command. The project NAICS code is likely to be 2362 and 2389, with a PSC code of S206. No incumbents or budget details were provided, though the scope of work suggests this could be a sizable contract given it involves full renovation of an existing building on a military base.
