About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy in London is seeking to procure 480 MERV-13 pre-filters for Government-owned Air Handling Units (AHUs), specifically requesting the DU4V-ES3-2424-VM13 model from Camfil-FARR or an equivalent manufacturer. The Department of State's Embassy procurement team intends to award the contract to the most responsible company submitting the lowest-priced acceptable quote, potentially without further discussions. Interested contractors must submit their quotations in English to Procurement_Box4@state.gov by June 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM local time, with preliminary questions due by June 6, 2025. All companies bidding on this contract valued over $30,000 are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and obtain an NCAGE code. The evaluation will focus on technical compliance with the specified filter requirements and pricing, with a clear objective of obtaining high-efficiency, mini-pleated V-bank style air filters meeting precise performance specifications.

The solicitation is not designated as a small business set-aside and will be performed at the U.S. Embassy location in Lambeth, London, UK. The procurement falls under the NAICS category 42373 for Warm Air Heating and Air-Conditioning Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers and PSC category 5915 for Filters and Networks. While specific contract value details are not explicitly stated, the requirement is for 480 pre-filters with specific technical characteristics including a rated airflow capacity of 2000 CFM and MERV-13 rating. Contractors must demonstrate specialized expertise in air filtration systems and comply with federal anti-discrimination laws. The contract is expected to be awarded shortly after the June 17, 2025 submission deadline, with potential for immediate implementation given the specific technical requirements of the air handling unit filters.
