The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to procure plastic safety barriers for the CBP Buffalo Field Office, Area Port of Alexandria Bay, NY. The procurement involves 80 plastic safety barriers in specific color quantities (15 blue, 15 green, and 50 orange) measuring 42" high by 24" wide and 96" long, along with 40 barricade lights in red or orange with various power and installation options. The barriers must be compatible with and interlock with existing Rochester Rotational Molding Safety Barricade System barriers currently in place at the port. It is the intent of CBP to procure plastic safety barriers to enhance security features at the CBP Buffalo Field Office, Area Port of Alexandria Bay, NY. The plastic safety barriers will enhance security features at the port. 

The barriers must be able to interlock with the existing barriers. Please see the SOW for capatibility requirements.

This is an RFI released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. This RFl's purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources of supply, industry practices, answers to specific questions, and industry comments. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI will be treated as business confidential information. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is confidential. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey; responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
