Plastic Safety Barriers

PR 20151275

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Buffalo Field Office

Area Port of Alexandria Bay, NY

1. OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

This Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the essential requirements for plastic safety barriers that are required for Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Buffalo Field Office, Area Port of Alexandria Bay, NY. The plastic safety barriers will enhance security features at the port.

2. SCOPE

It is the intent of CBP to procure plastic safety barriers to enhance security features at the Area Port of Alexandria Bay, NY.

Requirements:

We require plastic safety barriers and accessories (barricade light) that must meet the following requirements:

Quantity of eighty (80) plastic safety barriers – with minimum requirements:

• 15 Blue plastic safety barriers

• 15 Green plastic safety barriers

• 50 Orange plastic safety barriers

• Plastic safety barriers shall comply with the NY State/Local Department of

Transportation specifications.

Dimensions:

• 42” high by 24” wide

• Length will be no more and no less than 96” (8ft)

Adaptability:

• Plastic safety barriers must interlock with the existing plastic safety barriers.

Quantity of forty (40) barricade light – with minimum requirements:

• Red or Orange in color (lens and illumination)

• Continuous light on and/or blinking light option

• Solar powered with battery backup (Preferred)

• Battery powered (Alternate)

• Screw-in or bolt on style

• Shall fit/assemble into barriers without modification

2.1 Specific Tasks:

2.1.1 Testing

The contractor shall certify the functionality of all equipment prior to delivery.

2.1.2 Delivery

The contractor shall provide copies of the documents listed below. One copy of the data shall be delivered in paper form and one copy in electronic form. The electronic form shall be in MS Word format or Adobe Acrobat. The documents are deliverables under the contract and shall be delivered at time of delivery:

a. Operations Manual

b. Equipment Specifications

2.2 Estimated Cost Breakout (including applicable fees):

Our estimated cost was compiled based on data received from market research.

2.3 Deliverables:

The following items and quantities need to be delivered to the following and within 60 days of receipt of order:

3. INVOICE INSTRUCTIONS

Invoices shall be electronically transmitted through the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) and to the Points of Contract listed below. Invoices should include the following:

- Order number

- Unit price and total amount of each item

- Discount terms

- Company name, telephone, taxpayer’s identification number and complete mailing address to which payment will be mailed.
