Notice text

The Philips Epiq CVx echo ultrasound machine at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) will not power on and currently cannot be used for any required echocardiography studies.  The ultrasound machine must be restored back to working order to prevent the additional disruption and cancellation of veteran procedures. The Philips computer assembly IMB3 9th Gen EPIQ (PN# 453562024983) and Voyager Platform Power Module (PN# 453562089601) will be replaced, and the contractor shall repair and restore the Philips Epiq CVx echo ultrasound machine EE# 202817 to its original manufacturer’s specifications.

Any responsible source that feels it is capable in performing this requirement may submit a quote for the listed items from the solicitation and describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities.  The response will be considered by the agency.  Responses should be submitted to Dennis Fennelly at dennis.fennelly@va.gov no later than Wednesday, November 11th, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time, to be considered. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition.
