About this opportunity
The US Marshals Service (USMS) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for a PC as a Service (PCaaS) program to support its global IT infrastructure across approximately 500 locations, including international sites. The RFI aims to gather market research on technical solutions, best practices, pricing models, and device management strategies for replacing and managing approximately 10,500 computers, primarily Dell Latitude, Precision, and OptiPlex models. Key objectives include developing a comprehensive endpoint service delivery solution with maximum flexibility, predictable pricing, zero downtime, and seamless device transitions. Interested parties are invited to submit a 10-page response by 1:00 pm EDT on June 16, 2025, to Kim Ramsay via email. The RFI seeks to understand industry capabilities, transition approaches, performance metrics, and global delivery constraints for a potential future contract.
The procurement falls under NAICS code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) with a small business size standard of $34 million, and currently has no specific set-aside designation. While no incumbent contractor is explicitly named, the RFI indicates the current inventory consists primarily of Dell models. The scope of the potential contract is substantial, covering 10,500 computers across 500 locations, including sites in the United States, its territories, and seven international locations. This market research effort is not a formal solicitation and does not guarantee a future contract award, with the government explicitly stating that responses are voluntary and no financial responsibility will be assumed for submission costs. The USMS is purely seeking to understand market capabilities, potential solutions, and industry interest in providing a comprehensive PC as a Service solution.
