About this opportunity

The Special Notice is issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine-Learning (ML) in silico screening of candidate drug compounds against known targets of infectious disease threats. This is a sole-source contract opportunity and not a request for competitive proposals.

The purpose of this contract is to screen millions of approved and novel compounds against multiple targets identified by the Government to identify and develop drug-like ligands. The contractor will utilize ML decision tree algorithms to identify potent compounds and evaluate their potential toxicity, off-target effects, and metabolic liabilities. The contract has a posted date of October 3, 2024, and a due date of October 18, 2024.
