***AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION 5 JUNE 2019***
The purpose of this amendment is to address and answer questions asked by interested parties and to provide a detailed account of the site visit that took place at building 8549 at 8:00 AM Alaska Time on 5 June 2019. Please note that the requirement has been modified; a revised version of the Scope of Work has been attached.

Q1: Are there any photos of the existing hoist system?
A1: Please see attached photos.


Q2: Is the Government intent on reusing the existing hoist trolley?
A2: The scope of work has been modified to include new hoist trolleys. Please see attached document, "Scope_of_Work_5Jun19."


Q3: Are the periodic inspections only for the first year?
A3: The resulting contract action will include periodic inspections for only the first year; requirements for inspections beyond the first year will be solicited at a later time.


Q4: Can the Government clarify "IAW technical data" at the end of the Scope document?
A4: The scope of work has been modified to clarify that the "technical data" mentioned is the user/owner manual for the new hoists. Please see attached document, "Scope_of_Work_5Jun19."

***AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION 4 JUNE 2019***
The purpose of this amendment is to address and answer questions asked by interested parties and to provide information of a site visit for the subject requirement.
Q: What building will the requirement be shipped to/installed?
A: Building 8549.
A site visit will be held at the 3d Maintenance Squadron (8549 Sijan Avenue, JBER, AK 99506) on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson at 8 AM Alaska Time on 5 June 2019. If the vendor needs to be escorted on base, please meet at the Boniface Gate Visitor Center at 8 AM. Nonattendees will still be able to submit a quotation.
