The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a small business contractor to perform overhaul services for hydraulic cylinders used on HC-130J aircraft. This solicitation, identified as RFQ 70Z03825QH0000071, requires potential vendors to be certified as an FAA, OEM, or DoD Overhaul Facility with demonstrated capability to restore hydraulic components to a "Ready for Issue" condition. Contractors must provide comprehensive services including complete disassembly, inspection, repair, parts replacement, and corrosion mitigation. Quotations will be evaluated based on technical acceptability and lowest price, with strict criteria around facility certification, quality assurance systems, and documentation standards. The solicitation is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, with electronic quotations due by May 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time and an anticipated award date of June 10, 2025.

The solicitation allows for a unilateral modification if the quantity option is exercised, and contractors must be prepared to provide all necessary parts, labor, and materials to restore the hydraulic components. Quotations must be submitted via email to Shavon.M.Smith@uscg.mil and D05-SMBLRS-Procurement@uscg.mil, with the RFQ number clearly indicated in the subject line. The work will support mission-critical aircraft maintenance, with contractors required to meet stringent technical and documentation requirements to ensure component airworthiness and reliability.
