About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers, specifically the South Pacific Division and Sacramento District, is seeking remediation and environmental services support through a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) under the Operational Range Assessment Program (ORAP) and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP). The procurement encompasses environmental assessment, remediation, and compliance work for various Department of Defense customers, including support for the Environmental Restoration Program (DERP), Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS), Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP), Environmental Protection Agency programs, and other environmental regulatory initiatives. This requirement utilizes NAICS Code 562910 (Remediation Services) with a 1,000-employee size standard and Product Service Code F999 (Other Environmental Services). The solicitation was posted on May 22, 2023, with a proposal due date of July 6, 2023. While specific evaluation criteria details are not explicitly provided in this notice, the procurement will be conducted as a competitive MATOC IDIQ contract with individual task orders issued as allowed under DFARS 217.204(e)(i).

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small businesses meeting the established size standards. The MATOC IDIQ has an estimated ceiling value of $49,900,000, representing a significant multi-year environmental services contract. No incumbent contractor information or specific performance location details are identified in the solicitation notice. The contract will support multiple geographic locations and customer bases across the South Pacific Division and Sacramento District areas, with work to be distributed through individual task orders issued against the master contract. This structure allows for flexible allocation of resources across various environmental remediation projects and compliance activities within the DoD and federal agency environmental portfolio.
