About this opportunity

The Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management is conducting market research to identify potential sources for vehicle repair services, specifically for their Oklahoma Field Office operations. This pre-solicitation notice seeks contractors capable of providing comprehensive automotive repair services, as outlined in a detailed Statement of Work that describes repair requirements for a front-end collision-damaged 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee currently located in Norman, Oklahoma. Interested vendors must demonstrate capabilities in vehicle assessment, towing, component repair and replacement, system realignment, repainting, and quality assurance inspections to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with full operational functionality and safety compliance. Companies responding to this sources sought notice must provide basic company information including name, contact details, business size, UEI number, NAICS code 811111 (General Automotive Repair), and socio-economic status. The response deadline for statements of interest is June 12, 2025, just three days after the posting date of June 9, 2025.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualifying businesses regardless of size or socio-economic status. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the notice, suggesting this may represent a new requirement or a rebid of existing services. The government has not disclosed any budget ranges or estimated contract values for this vehicle repair requirement, consistent with the market research nature of this pre-solicitation activity. The Statement of Work specifies that repair work must be completed within four months of contract award, with the contractor responsible for towing the damaged vehicle to their facility and returning the fully restored vehicle to Norman, Oklahoma upon completion. The BLM emphasizes that this notice is solely for market research purposes and will not result in contract awards based on the responses received.
