About this opportunity
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a civilian agency within the Department of the Treasury, issued a Request for Information (RFI) on January 2, 2026, seeking vendor information on social media listening and analytics platforms. Solicitation number 2031JW26N00005 is designated as a Special Notice with no set-aside restrictions, meaning any contractor meeting the requirements is eligible to respond. This RFI is issued solely for information-gathering purposes and does not guarantee a subsequent solicitation or contract award. The OCC seeks to acquire a comprehensive tool capable of monitoring social media content across platforms, analyzing industry discussions, and generating actionable intelligence. All responses submitted become government property, and respondents should clearly mark any proprietary information as such to protect sensitive business details.
The OCC's objective is to identify vendors capable of providing a Social Media Listening Tool (SMLT) with advanced capabilities including minimum two years of historical data access, AI-powered content summaries, customizable alert systems, and downloadable reports, with capacity for up to 200 saved monthly queries. Interested contractors must submit electronic responses by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on February 3, 2026, to Danielle.Pena@occ.treas.gov with the subject line "Responses to FY '26 OCC's SMLT RFI #2031JW26N00018," limited to five pages and avoiding excessive marketing materials. The RFI is unrestricted, allowing any qualified vendor regardless of business size or classification to participate. The anticipated contract structure comprises three line items: SMLT and Technical Support, SMLT Optional Support, and SMLT Training Support, with a firm-fixed-price award anticipated from May 15, 2026, through May 14, 2027, plus four one-year option periods. Pricing submissions, if included, are limited to two pages with specific details required on platform monitoring, query limitations, licensing models, and training support options.
Notice text
This RFI is issued solely for information purposes, and therefore, documents received in response to this notice will not be returned, and any proprietary information contained within responses shall be clearly marked as 'Proprietary'. All submissions in response to
this RFI shall become the property of the Government. Any response submitted by Respondents to this request constitutes consent for its submission to be reviewed by OCC and its employees. Respondents shall avoid the use of excessive marketing language, submission of fancy brochures, and other unnecessary sales literature.
If a Respondent elects to include pricing, it is limited to two pages inclusive of any narrative(s) in response to SMLT RFI User Case
for Pricing (Attachment 1). The OCC elects to respond to comments and questions resulting from Respondents' submissions of the SMLT Q&A Worksheet (Attachment 2), if it is determined that doing so would benefit the agency.
