About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) seeking pricing details for a Social Media Listening Tool (SMLT) for 2026. The RFI requests comprehensive pricing information across three line items: (0001) SMLT and Technical Support, which includes software, technical activities, and customizable features; (0002) SMLT Optional Support for additional user access; and (0003) SMLT Training Support for virtual training and technical support.

The document outlines specific pricing considerations, including a preference for a flat fee per user with unlimited queries and social media platforms, targeting 5-10 total users. Respondents are asked to provide details on social media platform and profile monitoring, query limitations, licensing type (individual or enterprise), and training support options. The RFI includes three specific user cases for monitoring: ongoing bank portfolio monitoring, tracking financial industry topics, and conducting ad hoc queries. The tool should provide capabilities such as setting volume alerts, generating word clouds, identifying top hashtags and authors, and offering AI-generated insights with trend information available for at least one year.

2026 OCC’s Social Media Listening Tool (SMLT) User Cases Pricing

Section I – Based on the intended use of the SMLT solution, the Government (OCC) requests information on pricing the tool, software, technical support and activities, associated deliverables, and training needed. Pricing information should reflect user licenses (individual or enterprise) based on estimated mention volume, handles/profiles, queries, terms contained in a query, date ranges etc.

The OCC is seeking pricing information regarding the following three line-items proposed with consideration to the descriptions that follow (noting this is subject to change based on industry feedback from this RFI):

(0001) SMLT and Technical Support – Inclusive of the software or social media tool/platform, all technical activities, customizable features and functions, accessibility requirements, deliverables, and reports

(0002) SMLT Optional Support – Additional user access, as needed to the SMLT solution

(0003) SMLT Training Support – Virtual one-on-one and/or group training, training guide, and technical support access via email

Section II – Respondents should consider or provide a narrative that addresses the following when proposing pricing information:

• If a flat fee is charged per user, with unlimited queries and social media platforms, the

OCC would accept this fee structure. Ideally the OCC envisions 5 users with a desire to scale to more users if needed, not-to-exceed 10. If offered in a flat fee, provide the:

o Number of social media platforms monitored o Number of social media profiles monitored

• If the number of queries is limited, address whether ad hoc queries count against the total query limit, or do only saved queries count against the total query limit?

o What are the estimated saved queries and number of aliases/terms permitted o What are the estimated ad hoc queries and number of aliases/terms permitted o Volume of ‘mentions’ permitted

• If a saved query is created and the user modifies a field, such as a social profile target, does that count as a new query?

• Are limitations applied to individual usage or do they count collectively (ex.: two users performing different queries)?

• SMLT License Type – Individual or Enterprise? If individual, pricing per individual or pricing per increment is preferred, e.g., 1 license. If enterprise, volume pricing should reflect the number of users, software tier and description of the functions and features per tier.

• SMLT Training Support Hours – Individual or Group? If individual, pricing per 1 hour training for new users and ad hoc support is preferred. The OCC must be provided a

report of ad hoc training usage, if priced hourly. If group, pricing per lowest number of participants and frequency is requested.

Section III – Based on the Government’s requirements, Respondents should consider the following user cases when providing pricing information. For user case below, users would need the ability to set alerts for changes in volume, and view a word cloud, view top hashtags, top authors, top links shared, AI-generated insights/summaries of mentions, etc.

Trend information should be available going back at least 1 year. Users may need assistance in creating the Boolean phrases for the queries, either via support or user guide.:

User Case 1

Ongoing monitoring for several portfolios of banks via saved searches/queries – one portfolio/query for larger banks, one portfolio/query for medium banks, and one portfolio/query for smaller banks. Each portfolio would contain about 20 banks +/-.

User Case 2

Monitor saved topical searches/queries in financial industry topics such as earnings season, cyber event monitoring, etc.

Use Case 3

Input an ad hoc query to monitor an institution or topic.
