About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs' Strategic Acquisition Center is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for a national Requirements Contract for Medical PACS Workstations. The solicitation seeks vendors capable of supplying Dell workstations and associated equipment for VA medical centers, with multiple equipment configurations including full tower, mid tower, and small tower workstations, laptops, and accessories. Vendors must be registered in SAM, certified with NAICS code 334118, and capable of providing comprehensive technical documentation demonstrating their equipment's capabilities. The Sources Sought Notice is not a formal solicitation but a preliminary market research effort to assess vendor readiness and potential contract capabilities. Responses are due by April 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST, with vendors required to submit detailed information including annual service plans, company details, and technical literature.
The contract is not designated with any specific set-aside and is intended to support the Veterans Health Administration's Non-Expendable Equipment National Program. The anticipated contract structure includes one 12-month base period with four additional 12-month option periods, providing a potential total contract duration of five years. While specific award values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the contract appears designed to establish a nationwide procurement mechanism for medical imaging workstation equipment. The procurement will cover multiple equipment configurations, suggesting a potentially significant volume of equipment to be procured across VA medical centers. Vendors will need to demonstrate nationwide supply capabilities, technical expertise in medical imaging workstation technologies, and the ability to meet the VA's specific technical and service requirements.
