About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission communicates their intent to award a sole source contract to CCH Incorporated for a web-based legal research platform subscription. The SEC requires electronic access to federal and state securities laws and regulations, case law, stock exchange publications and related commentary through an interface with enhanced search and organizational functionality.

The SEC seeks to enter a fixed-price contract with CCH Incorporated using FAR Part 13.501(a) procedures for a base period of 12 months plus four 12-month option periods. While no competitive solicitation will be issued, the SEC will consider capability statements from other interested parties due by February 23, 2023. However, the SEC has determined CCH Incorporated is the only known source that can meet all requirements. If awarded, the contract is estimated to be below the FAR threshold that would require use of the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
