About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service published a Special Notice of its intent to issue a sole source award. The Notice aims to procure online medical credentialing resources from HCPro to enhance the skills of IHS staff involved in credentialing medical professionals.
The Special Notice seeks to strengthen patient safety across IHS facilities by awarding a firm fixed-price purchase order to HCPro for privileged white papers, e-learning courses, expert forums, and continuously updated newsletters. These comprehensive credentialing tools and resources would assist IHS in developing a unified credentialing program. Interested parties have until December 16, 2023 to provide evidence that competition would benefit the government by demonstrating their ability to meet IHS's needs. If no responses are received demonstrating greater advantage than sole sourcing, IHS intends to award a five-year contract valued at $15 million to HCPro, consisting of a base year and four option years.
