About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Agilent Technologies for the Agilent 6495D triple quadrupole liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) system. This analytical chemistry instrument provides separation (LC) and mass analysis (MS) of a wide array of chemical compounds with high sensitivity and selectivity. The CDC states that no other LC-MS manufacturers provide the exclusive technology used in this system, and it ensures seamless continuity of operations of the ARV Laboratory due to its likeness and compatibility to the Lab's current instrument and logistics. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, but this is not a request for competitive quotations. All quotations/responses received within fifteen (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

This acquisition is designated as an 8(a) sole source contract. The intended recipient is Agilent Technologies Inc. located at 2850 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. The government will make a determination, at its sole discretion, whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on the responses received. The value of the contract is not specified in the notice.
