About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, under the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Acquisition Services, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for preventative maintenance services on laboratory equipment. The procured services will cover maintenance for one Zephyr G3 workstation and two SciClone G3 NGSx workstations manufactured by Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. The primary contract requirement is that the vendor must be the sole authorized provider of new and remanufactured repair parts for these specific workstations, which limits competition to the manufacturer itself. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations and responses received within fifteen days of the notice issuance will be considered by the government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The response deadline is December 24, 2025, and interested parties should submit their quotations or capability statements via email to Contracting Officer Denedra Hardy at qfa5@cdc.gov.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and represents a sole source award to Revvity Health Sciences, Inc., the equipment manufacturer and sole authorized service provider. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price purchase order, though no specific award value or budget range is disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The anticipated period of performance extends for two years, running from March 10, 2026 through March 9, 2028. The procurement falls under NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC code J066 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment—Instruments and Laboratory Equipment). The government reserves the sole discretion to determine whether to compete this contract based on responses received to this notice.
