About this opportunity

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego announced on July 20, 2026 its intent to sole-source a Firm-Fixed-Price commercial contract to DXP Enterprises, Inc. for the DXP Model 47 Fuel Filtration Unit and associated components, with a July 27, 2026 deadline for responsible sources to submit capability statements. This is not a competitive solicitation; the Government reserves discretion to conduct competitive procurement based on information received.

The DXP Model 47 is custom-engineered to meet the restricted weight, footprint, and low-magnetic signature requirements of LCS-2 variant main propulsion systems and is not available from other sources. The requirement includes Graco Quantim I30 Electric Diaphragm Pumps, hoses, fitting kits, filter housings, butterfly valves, and delivery to USS KINGSVILLE (LCS 36) at Naval Base San Diego by September 1, 2026. The estimated cost is $64,850 (unit $45,850, pumps $9,460, hoses and fittings $3,294, freight $4,000). Contract action falls under FAR Part 12 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, NAICS 333914, and PSC 4330. Interested parties must email capability statements to yesica.l.burrill.civ@us.navy.mil by 0800 a.m. PST on July 27, 2026. The justification cites DXP's proprietary design and lack of comparable vendor solutions as the basis for sole-source treatment.
