This special notice, posted on November 25, 2025, pertains to annual support and maintenance of Draeger Anesthesia equipment at Martin Army Community Hospital (MACH) located at Fort Benning, Georgia. The contract period of performance spans from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2030. The government classified this procurement under NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services) and PSC code J065 (Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Medical Equipment). The sole source determination is justified based on Draeger, Inc.'s status as the sole provider capable of delivering required maintenance services with 100% compatibility to existing equipment.

The submission deadline is December 4, 2025, and failure to respond by this date will result in contract issuance without further notice. The maintenance services encompass two scheduled preventative maintenance visits annually, all unscheduled emergency repairs, compliance with original manufacturer specifications, and 24/7 emergency support through the Draeger Triage Center, with response times required within two hours and maximum system downtime of 48 hours. While this is not a competitive solicitation, any contractor seeking to challenge the sole source determination must demonstrate why competition would benefit the government. The government retains sole discretion to proceed with competitive procurement based on received responses and assumes no obligation to acknowledge submissions or provide feedback to respondents.
