AFMES is the Department of Defense's leader in providing medicolegal services and emerging technologies essential for the readiness, sustainability, and survivability of service members.
The purpose of this sole source bridge contract is to maintain continuity of critical services supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) DNA operations, including quality control, data collection, and coordination of DNA specimen processing, until a new competitive contract can be awarded in Q3 FY2024. The bridge contract will have a 6-month base period from May 2024 to October 2024, with a 6-month option period from November 2024 to April 2025. The agency invites any other firms interested in providing these services to fully identify their interest and capability by April 12, 2024, though the decision to compete this contract is solely at the Government's discretion.
