About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Special Notice intending to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to DoubleTree by Hilton at The Albuquerque Convention Center. This sole source procurement is for services to support a conference with up to 120 participants from June 2-6, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to provide a 5-day notice period for interested parties to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, though this is not a request for competitive quotations. The CDC cites FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as the authorities for the sole source award, as DoubleTree by Hilton is the only hotel located downtown Albuquerque with the required 110-room availability and capacity to accommodate up to 120 participants during the specified dates. The total estimated procurement amount is not provided. Any responses to this notice should be emailed to Sherrie Constantine at umk8@cdc.gov by 10:00 A.M. ET on April 1, 2024.
