About this opportunity
The Department of the Army has issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Cummins Inc. for the provision of Onan generator repair parts and preventative maintenance kits. The BPA will provide an indefinite quantity of new, unused OEM Cummins Onan generator parts and kits to support the operations of the Blue Grass Chemical Activity in Richmond, Kentucky.
The purpose of this sole source BPA is to establish a cost-effective and rapid response mechanism for preventing operational failures of the Cummins Onan generators that support the health and safety of the Blue Grass Chemical Activity. The BPA will have a 12-month base period with two option years, and a total maximum value of $150,000, with no single call exceeding $50,000. The government has determined that Cummins Inc. is the sole manufacturer and provider of the required OEM parts and equipment. Other interested parties may submit capability statements by August 29, 2024, for consideration in the agency's determination of whether to award a sole source BPA or multiple BPAs. The procurement is unrestricted, with an NAICS code of 333618 and a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. All offerors must have an active SAM.gov registration to be considered.
