About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking a bridge contract for Operations, Maintenance, and Support (OM&S) of Primary Training Ranges (PTR) across multiple Air Force bases. The contract will cover Electronic Combat Ranges, Electronic Warfare Sites, and Bombing and Gunnery ranges located at nine different locations, including sites in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Mexico, South Carolina, Idaho, and Texas. The primary objectives include maintaining range threat, scoring, and feedback systems, as well as providing target, road, grounds, and limited facility maintenance. Interested parties are required to submit inquiries or capability packages by March 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM eastern time. The government anticipates awarding the contract no later than June 30, 2025, with evaluation likely focusing on small business capabilities and technical competence in range support services.
The contract is 100% set aside for Small Business under NAICS code 561210 and will be a sole-source bridge action awarded to AT2, LLC. The eighteen-month contract will run from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026, effectively bridging the gap between the current contract (FA489018C0008) and a future long-term procurement. The bridge action is necessitated by staffing challenges and the departure of key personnel that have created a critical knowledge gap in range operations. While specific award value was not disclosed, the contract will cover comprehensive range support across nine military training range locations. Foreign participation is explicitly not permitted in this procurement, and the contract will ensure continuous specialized range support services for Air Force training operations.
