About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Installation and Mission Support Center Installation Contracting Agency, specifically the Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) 773d Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS), has issued a Special Notice for an Industry Day event related to Expeditionary Contingency Medical Material (ECMM) Services. The event will be held on December 17-18, 2024, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland and involves multiple agencies including the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, National Guard, US Army, and the JANUS Project. The requirement is currently designated as a small business set-aside, though the government remains open to considering various acquisition strategies. The Special Notice provides detailed information about the upcoming Industry Day and invites potential contractors to participate in an informative and interactive event. The notice emphasizes that this is not a formal solicitation but an opportunity for industry engagement and knowledge sharing.

Potential contractors must register by December 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM CST, with each company limited to three attendees. Registration requires submission of company name, position/title, and email address to specific government contacts: Theresa Jackson, SSgt Eric Oliver, and Gary Clark. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide an overview of the ECMM Services requirement, including a warehouse facility tour and opportunities for one-on-one breakout sessions with government representatives. Attendees are requested to review attached documents and come prepared to discuss alternative contract strategies. The event will include comprehensive briefings about the program, with the government committing to distribute conference minutes within 7-10 business days after the event. While attendance is voluntary and not a prerequisite for future solicitations, the government encourages interested companies to participate and engage in discussions about the ECMM Services requirement. No registration fees are required, and the government will not reimburse participation costs.
