About this opportunity

The Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) announced a notice of intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Thermo Electron North America, LLC for a maintenance service plan covering the Dionex Integrion Ion Chromatography instrument system, with responses due by 1:00 PM EDT on May 27, 2026.

The period of performance runs June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027. The service plan covers the Eluent Generator, AS-AP Autosampler, Detector Compartment, Dual Pump, Variable Wavelength Detector, and associated components (RFIC, DEGAS, OVEN, TEC, ICS6). NETL justifies the sole-source award on grounds that failure to procure maintenance from Thermo Electron North America, LLC will directly impede laboratory operation of the instrument system and compromise the accuracy of research project results.

The notice is issued under Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 for acquisition of commercial products and services. Any interested party that believes it can meet the requirement must submit written evidence of capability to Contract Specialist Lauren Page at Lauren.Page@netl.doe.gov by the deadline. This is a notice of intent, not a request for proposal or quote. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
