About this opportunity

On January 26, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security's United States Coast Guard Office of Contracting and Procurement issued a modification to the National Multiple Award Construction Contract (NMACC) III Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle, increasing the aggregate contract ceiling from $4 billion to $12.25 billion across 27 separate IDIQ contracts organized in three contractor pools. The awarded contract encompasses new construction, renovation, and repairs of commercial and institutional facilities at DHS installations nationwide, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with supported facility types ranging from waterfront structures and housing to medical complexes and administrative buildings. The modification supports time-sensitive, mission-critical design and construction projects funded through disaster supplemental appropriations and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which allocated $4.379 billion specifically for shore facilities recapitalization, with work anticipated to include specialty trades and infrastructure repairs resulting from extreme weather events. All 27 contractors across the three pools (Pool 1 with 10 contractors, Pool 2 with 8 contractors, and Pool 3 with 9 contractors) received this capacity increase modification on January 21, 2026, and future task orders will continue to be competed among existing IDIQ holders in accordance with fair opportunity procedures.
