About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP WSS) is soliciting quotations for the repair of two Blade, Rotary Rudder components (NIIN: 01-158-9678) for the MH-60R helicopter platform. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) seeks repair services with either firm-fixed price or Time and Travel & Equipment (TT&E) pricing, along with cost estimates to restore the items to operating condition. The components carry a Critical Safety Item (CSI) designation, underscoring their importance to mission-critical operations. Contractors will be evaluated based on their ability to provide a comprehensive firm fixed price that encompasses evaluation labor, materials, and parts necessary for restoration. The solicitation was posted on January 5, 2026, with a response deadline of February 6, 2026, providing interested contractors approximately one month to prepare and submit their proposals.

This procurement is not designated as a small business set-aside and represents a sole source requirement under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. The current supplier will be awarded the contract, as the government lacks sufficient, accurate, and legible data to solicit from alternative vendors. The requirement involves two units requiring repair with a 365-day turnaround time, and delivery is scheduled between January and March 2026 to New York Forwarding Services in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The contract also involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) with case number SR-P-MAL. Performance will take place in the United States, with the repair work addressing National Stock Number 7R 1615 011589678 and Part Number 70101-31000-046, which carries a Repair Material Code (RMC) of 3C.
