Place of performance is Springfield, Virginia 22150, with the .308 line item delivered to Arnold, Missouri 63101 (NGA St. Louis). The requirement covers 134 cases of .223 caliber 64-grain soft point ammunition (500 rounds per case), 150 cases of 175-grain match-grade boat-tail hollow point .308 Winchester ammunition (20 rounds per case), and 10 cases each of Ultimate Training Munitions 9mm UTX/MMR and 223/5.56 MMR/NMR (1,000 rounds per case). Ammunition supports duty carry, training, and sustainment for the NGA Office of Force Protection. Delivery must be completed within 90 days of order receipt or less.

The .223 item must meet SAAMI standards, with a technical base of Federal T223L 64-grain ammunition and Speer Gold Dot 64-grain as an alternative if Federal rounds are unavailable within 90 days of order receipt. The failure rate may not exceed 1 round in 10,000. Shelf life is a minimum of three years from shipment when stored dry in manufacturer's packaging, and service life must be warranted for a minimum of one year. Training rounds are non-lethal with high-contrast marking for force-on-force and force-on-target training. All ammunition must be manufactured in the United States by single source manufacturers. Packaging must comply with 49 CFR parts 100-184, and pallets must be marked per Federal Standard 123. Awardees must ship within 90 calendar days or less of required delivery dates and provide 96 hours advance notice to the receiving location.

Quotes must include specification sheets and remain valid for 30 days. Award will be based on technical acceptability and price reasonableness. Quotes are submitted to Ken Lehrmann and Tina Little-Pilger.
