About this opportunity
The Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) within the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide various industrial gases, including argon, helium, nitrogen, oxygen, and propane, to support its manufacturing and testing operations. The government is issuing a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential contractors that can meet the draft Statement of Work requirements, which include on-site delivery, use, and pickup of the gases at three locations within the Philadelphia Naval Foundry. Responses should address the company's qualifications, experience, and ability to fulfill the contract, which is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 60-month ordering period. The deadline for submitting capability statements is April 11, 2024.
This requirement is not set-aside for any specific business designation. The primary NAICS code is 325120 (Industrial Gas Manufacturing) and the PSC code is 6830 (Industrial Gases). The government has not identified any incumbent contractors. The contract value is undetermined at this time, as the requirement will be based on the actual usage of industrial gases during the performance period. The Statement of Work specifies the types and quantities of gases needed to support NFPC's operations.
