About this opportunity
The United States Department of State, specifically the US Embassy in Brussels, is seeking a contractor to enhance the security of the future NEC building by establishing a comprehensive camera and lighting perimeter system. The primary objectives include mitigating unauthorized entry, trespassing, and vandalism through advanced security infrastructure. All responsible sources may submit a quotation electronically, with a strict requirement that contractors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to offer submission. The government anticipates potentially awarding the contract based on initial offers without discussions, though they reserve the right to conduct negotiations with companies within the competitive range if necessary.

The procurement process emphasizes electronic submission through SAM.gov, with strict adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.204-7. No site visit is planned, suggesting that potential contractors will need to rely on provided documentation and specifications to prepare their competitive proposals.
