About this opportunity

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is seeking occupational medical and health services providers capable of delivering comprehensive medical evaluations and vaccinations for NASA civil servants under the Goddard Occupational Surveillance Program, as mandated by NASA Procedural Requirement 1800.1. The services must cover personnel at both the Greenbelt, Maryland facility and Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, with providers offering either offsite services at their own facilities within 100 miles of NASA locations or mobile health units deployed on-site. Required capabilities include conducting audiograms, spirometry, electrocardiograms, vision examinations, laboratory testing, and exercise stress testing for various job categories including crane operators, divers, commercial drivers, firefighters, forklift operators, respirator users, and security personnel. Interested vendors must submit detailed capability statements demonstrating their ability to provide these specialized occupational health services, as general vendor brochures will not be considered adequate responses. The capability statements are due by Monday, August 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST, with NASA potentially considering multiple providers due to geographic constraints.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors. The contract scope covers calendar years 2023-2024 and requires vendors to provide comprehensive medical surveillance services including baseline and periodic medical evaluations with specific frequencies varying by job category and risk level. Medical providers must be available for consultation and review of evaluations, with all documentation transmitted electronically to the GSFC Medical Director. The services encompass a wide range of specialized medical examinations tailored to different occupational hazards, with mandatory counseling on evaluation results and written medical opinions required for each assessment. NASA may award contracts to one or more providers to ensure adequate geographic coverage for both Maryland and Virginia facility locations.
