About this opportunity

The 341st Contracting Squadron at Malmstrom Air Force Base is seeking small business contractors to provide construction, maintenance, and alteration services for real property assets across multiple locations in Montana. The Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command will issue an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract (MAC) to support construction and repair work at Malmstrom AFB, Weapons Storage Area, Missile Alert Facilities, and Launch Facilities. Qualified contractors must be small businesses, specifically targeting 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) categories. Interested firms must demonstrate the capability to accomplish multiple craft type projects using subcontractors. Potential respondents are required to submit company information, including CAGE code, small business status, and applicable NAICS codes to the contracting officer by 2:00 pm Mountain Time on April 11, 2025.

The procurement is fully set aside for small businesses with contract sizes ranging from $100,000 to $6,000,000 and a total aggregate MAC capacity not exceeding $100 million. The contract will have a five-year base period with two additional option years, totaling seven years of potential service. The government plans to award up to eight separate contracts under NAICS Codes 236220, 237990, 238290, and 238990, with small business size standards varying between $19 million to $45 million depending on the specific NAICS code at the task order level. Contractors will be expected to provide comprehensive construction and maintenance services across various facility types, including strategic missile facilities and Air Force base infrastructure. The wide range of potential contract values and the multiple award approach suggests the government is seeking a diverse pool of small business contractors with varied capabilities to meet their construction and maintenance requirements.
