Contract requirements include two preventative maintenance visits annually, unlimited phone support, and unlimited repair visits covering parts, labor, and travel, with a response time of one business day by phone and two business days for onsite service. The mass spectrometer supports the USGS Organic Geochemistry Research Laboratory's mission of analyzing water resource contaminants, including herbicides, pesticides, antibiotics, and hormones.
