**************** UPDATE **********

21 August 2019, 1415 CDST

***************** UPDATE **********

The Government provides the following attachment "Shipping CLIN Clarifcation (21Aug).pdf" to correct responses provided to Industry questions on 22 July and 12 August 2019.

The Clarification posted here SUPERCEDES all previous questions and answers regarding the payment of shipment costs for PDM units and Spare parts to Field Units.
The Q & A from 12 Aug (Q12) and 25 Jul (Q13) posted to FBO both state that the Contractor is responsible for all shipping costs. The answer to Q12 posted on 12 Aug actually states that ODC is for Personnel Travel only.

These answers were incorrect.

In fact, the successful Offeror is responsible for up-front shipping costs of PDM units from the field to the successful Offeror's maintenance facility and return to the field unit, as well as up-front shipping costs of Parts to the Field Units. Upon submission of appropriate documentation, the Government will reimburse the successful Offeror the cost of shipping the MSN-7 Units or Parts.

PDM efforts (labor, parts, etc.) will be funded on the Firm-Fixed Price CLIN X004, Spare Parts will be funded on the appropriate Firm-Fixed Price subCLIN X003(xx), and the reimbursed Shipping Costs will be funded on the Cost Reimbursable, No Fee CLIN X009.
Please prepare your Attachment 3 Pricing Matrix entries appropriately.

NOTE: The response due date for proposals is NOT extended and responses remain due to the listed Point of Contact No Later Than 3:00 PM Local on 9 Sep 2019.
