The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to Improve Potable Water System, Military Ocean Terminal, Sunny Point (MOTSU), North Carolina. The scope of work includes: Demolition of existing 500,000 gallon concrete ground water storage tank, and installation a new 300,000 gallon concrete storage tank. Installation of new tank will include site work, pad/footings, backup generator, and associated piping of approximately 800 linear feet. This project will have complete plans and specs for advertising. This is not a design build.
Antiterrorism/Force protection measures and sustainment mandates will be incorporated.
The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The size standard is $36,500,000.00.


The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.


The proposal due date is specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.


This solicitation will be a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.


Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation. Call 1-866-606-8220 for more information or visit the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. After completing SAM, in order to download documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov. In order to locate solicitation, Contractors can go to FedBizOpps and search for the solicitation number at www.fbo.gov.


Contractors can register to be put on a plan holders list that others can access through the FedBizOpps site. It is the Offeror's responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
