About this opportunity
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), under the Department of Health and Human Services, has issued a Special Notice for the modification of baboon cages in its Primate Facility. The modifications are required to meet the minimum cage space requirements for Nonhuman Primates (NHPs) weighing between 15-20 kg.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order to GT Designs LLC, the only known responsible source who can provide the required modifications. The modifications involve the fabrication of 10 mobile 8-square foot floor space NHP cages, with the cages designed to match existing equipment for interchangeability. The Special Notice is set aside for Small Businesses, and the agency is seeking capability statements from any interested parties that can demonstrate the ability to perform the requirement, including unit price, delivery period, prompt payment discount, and other pertinent information. Responses are due by 9:00 am EST on April 1, 2024, and the agency anticipates making an award approximately 5 days after the notice is issued.
