The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for realignment and refurbishment of the Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility (TRACON) at the Muskegon County Airport (MKG) in Muskegon, Michigan, and the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing obsolete consoles, carpets, ceilings, and other work; providing partitions, carpets, ceilings, and other work; providing HVAC and Electrical work as specified in drawings and specifications.

Estimated Project Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000

This is NOT a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal (RFP).This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1.  This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only.  The nature of the competition has not been determined.  The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or a set-aside for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA’s 8(a) Program.  The purpose of this market survey is to identify capable contractors and to understand the current marketplace in terms of small business, and ALL other business types and sizes.

RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY:

All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information.  Any cost associated with submitting a response to this Market Survey/Request for Information is solely at the responding vendor’s expense.

Responses to this market survey, expressing interest, must include the following information:

1.Name of Company

2.Address

3.Point of contact name, email address and telephone number

4.Business size status: Large Business, 8(a) Certified, Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), etc.

5.Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) Number assigned by SAM.gov

6.Relevant experience on projects of similar size and complexity (including a brief description of at least three similar projects completed within the last five years where the company served as the prime contractor.

7. Number of years in business

Please submit responses to the Market Survey by Noon ET on February 2nd, 2024. All response submittals, including attachments, must be submitted electronically to the following email address:  Joni.l.haynes@faa.gov.  Only electronic submissions will be accepted.  No telephone requests or questions will be accepted.  Since this is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposal, no results will be issued to the responding firms.
