About this opportunity
The National Park Service at Minidoka National Historic Site in Jerome, Idaho is seeking to procure the repair and installation of two sets of entryway doors to replace existing Horton Model 4100 doors at the visitor center. The new doors must be sliding, ADA-compliant, and facilitate easy access, with mechanical components relocated from ground level to above the doorway or inside the breezeway for environmental protection. The contract requires that after repairs, the doors must be fully operational as designed, with any deviations deemed unacceptable, and includes a one-year warranty covering all parts and labor. The evaluation will be based on price, technical approach, relevant experience, and past performance, with technical and past performance combined being equal to price in importance. Questions are due by August 15, 2025, and quotes must be submitted by August 22, 2025, with the period of performance running from September 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS codes 236210 and 236220 with a small business size standard of $45.0 million, meaning only small business concerns may submit quotations. Previous solicitations for this same work (140P8425Q0002 and 140P8325Q0036) were cancelled due to incorrect specifications for the scope of work. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the installation of exactly two sets of entryway doors at the Minidoka National Historic Site visitor center. Performance will take place at the historic site located in Jerome, Idaho, with delivery required by September 30, 2025. The contract includes all necessary labor, materials, supplies, equipment, mobilization, transportation, supervision, and waste disposal required to complete the door replacement project.
