The purpose of this RFP amendment is to notify industry that the Government has determined the specifications contained in the original RFP required more capability than industry can currently provide. Therefore, the Government has adjusted both the G/J band MPM and the E/F band MPM specifications to provide an opportunity for greater competition.

All changes are clearly stated in section 7.1 for both specifications. Changes to the G/J MPM and for the E/F MPM now mirror specifications that have been successfully competed in the past. The amended RFP will require offerors to submit new proposals by the due date specified in the amended RFP. Additionally, interested parties will have the opportunity to submit questions regarding the amended RFP by the due date specified in the amended RFP.

The contract will provide the fabrication, testing, and delivery of Microwave Power Module (MPM) as required in individual orders.
