This special notice, published by the Department of Health and Human Services CDC Office of Acquisition Services, is not a request for competitive quotes but rather an announcement of the agency's intention to procure specialized software under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The contract involves supplying and maintaining Micromain's CMMS EAM SaaS maintenance and facilities management program across multiple NIOSH locations including Pittsburgh, Morgantown, Cincinnati, and Spokane. The anticipated award date is on or before September 30, 2025, with the contract falling under NAICS code 513210 for Software Publishers. The procurement is structured as a firm fixed price purchase order with a base period and four option periods extending through 2030.

The purpose of this sole source procurement is to obtain multi-site maintenance and facilities management software that only Micromain Corporation can provide to satisfy NIOSH's specific requirements. Interested sources must submit capability statements by September 11, 2025, that demonstrate their ability to provide the required services with management and technical data, cost information, and convincing evidence of their capabilities. Capability statements are limited to two pages using a minimum 10-point font and must include sufficient detail to prove the contractor's ability to deliver the requested warranties and services. The contract structure includes a base period from September 30, 2025, through September 29, 2026, followed by four annual option periods extending through September 29, 2030. While this is positioned as a sole source award, the agency will consider all capability statements received by the deadline, though requests for documentation or submissions containing only questions will not be considered.
