About this opportunity
The United States Embassy in Mexico is seeking a vendor to supply an Indoor/Outdoor Portable Stage with a Modular Design that is weather resistant for use in Mexico City. The procurement will be conducted through the Department of State, specifically the US Embassy Mexico, under the NAICS category of Convention and Trade Show Organizers. Potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of proposal submission, with failure to do so resulting in automatic disqualification. The government indicates they may award the contract based on initial offers without further discussion, suggesting a competitive and streamlined procurement process. Offerors will need to carefully review and comply with all solicitation requirements to be considered responsive.
The pre-solicitation notice does not specify a specific set-aside designation, meaning the opportunity is open to all responsible sources. No incumbent contractor or specific award value is mentioned in the current documentation. The contract will be structured as a firm-fixed price Purchase Order, implying a straightforward transactional procurement. While the exact quantity of stages is not specified, the requirement is for a single modular stage suitable for indoor and outdoor use in Mexico City. The pre-solicitation was posted on March 28, 2025, signaling that the full Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be released in the near future, and potential vendors should prepare their SAM registration and review the upcoming detailed solicitation requirements.
