About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City intends to solicit brand-new NOTIFIER spare parts for the New Embassy Compound fire alarm system, with a response deadline of July 24, 2026. This is a sole-source procurement under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) brand-name authority.
The Facility Management Office (FAC) requires original equipment manufacturer (OEM) NOTIFIER components to maintain system compatibility, configuration integrity, and manufacturer support. The specified parts include control panels, initiating devices (multi-criteria and duct smoke detectors, heat detectors), notification appliances (pull stations, strobes, horn strobes), relay and monitor modules, loop control and expander modules, network communication modules, power supplies, and approved replacement components. All items must be brand new and match specific OEM part numbers and models; no substitutions are accepted. The Government determined that non-OEM components would disrupt integrated system architecture, potentially void warranties, create costly reconfiguration delays, require third-party testing, and compromise critical life-safety functions.
The estimated procurement value is $39,214.00. Performance is at the New Embassy Compound in Mexico City. Full specifications, part numbers, quantities, and delivery requirements will be provided in the RFQ upon solicitation launch. Electronic submission is required. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov at the time of proposal submission; failure to register will render proposals non-responsive.
